Welcome to the Porthcurno Residents' Association (PKRA).
We are all people who live or own a home in Porthcurno in far west Cornwall, near Lands End. Whether we live here permanently or just for some of the year, we share one thing in common - a love for this beautiful and unique part of the UK.
It costs nothing to join but in doing so you join over 100 other people who want to help build a stronger community.
Our aims are simple: to watch, protect and further the general interest of residents, and in doing so look after the special place where we live.
We rely on voluntary donations to keep us going and suggest an annual donation of £5 but anything you can give helps.
We live in a unique area, of unspoilt coastline, rugged countryside, historic sites, and with a rich artistic and industrial heritage.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, our next meeting on Thursday 28 May at 7.30pm has been cancelled. We will let you know when we have re-arranged this.
Did you know..
...we have a Facebook page and group? Open to all PKRA members to join, you can do so here or just click on the link on the footer below. The more people that join the more useful a tool it will be for keeping us all connected.
The current Porthcurno Coastal Community Team (CCT) action plan was circulated to residents in July 2018.
Not sure what the CCT is? For more information see the CCT page here.
