It's free for local groups but we do ask that you make an annual minimum donation of £5 if you are a local business. We can only guarantee to update this page once a year, so please give us as much information as you can before we add the information here.

Peninsula Garden Society

The PGS meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 7.30pm in Lamorna Village Hall, except August and December, and is open to all who enjoy gardening. Entrance is £2 or you can join as a member for £10 yearly. They have 9 talks over the year, meeting every 3rd Wednesday of the month, and also hold a very popular plant sale in May.  Recent talks have included are Godolphin Garden, Crops, Gardening with Nature, Gardening on Tresco, All-round Colour in the Garden and Hidden Valley Gardens. The club has many gardeners with experience of growing with the challenging Cornish weather who are happy to advise gardeners new to the area. Visitors are always very welcome. There is plenty of parking either in the Hall car park or on the road outside There is a different speaker each month, with refreshments and usually a raffle too.

The PGS Membership Secretary is Miranda Penhaligon, a PKRA member, so do chat to her at PKRA meetings if you want to know more. You can also find details in the Lamorna section of "Down Your Way" in the Cornishman every week.
